President & Chief Executive Officer
Prior to Joining Allegheny in 1998, Jim worked in various sales and executive positions at both flooring contractors and manufacturers including Milliken, Collins & Aikman, Mohawk, and BKM. He graduated with a bachelor's in management and marketing from Ashland University in Ohio.
He has served as Treasurer on the Board of Starnet Worldwide, and sat on the Board of Directors for NEFCA. Jim also has Chaired the local Melanoma Foundation chapter's Golf Tournament for many years and has played a significant role in integrating the Flooring, Construction & Design communities to largely participate in the fundraising, donations and event.
Chief Operations Officer
Andy first joined Allegheny in 1990 as Assistant Controller and worked is way up to Chief Financial Officer. After 12 1/2 years, he left to work for other flooring contractors and returned in 2007 as Chief Operations Officer and Jim's "right hand man". He is a graduate of Salem State with a bachelor's in finance. He also returned to school to take Continuing Education for Construction at Wentworth Institute of Technology, a 4-class crash course in estimating, plan reading and other related topics which allowed him to further his industry knowledge and become even more valuable to his team. Andy has also sat on the NEFCA board since 2006.
Chief Financial Officer
A new addition in October 2016, Dave joins us as Chief Financial Officer after 13 years of working for Citizens Bank where he was a VP and acted as Relationship Manager for Allegheny's account. Dave is excited to be part of a company that offers a tangible product; installing flooring in new and existing spaces. He is also extremely happy to be working for a family-owned company with many long-time employees. Dave graduated from Boston College with a Bachelors in History and Economics and received his MBA from Endicott College.
Architect & Design Specification
Architect & Design Specialist
After graduating from Salve Regina University, RI in 2007 with a bachelor's in Graphic Design & Communications, Lauren began working for Lees Carpets, a division of The Mohawk Group. She worked in the New York City Territory for 2 years before she moved up to work with her father at Allegheny. Lauren began as Architect & Design Specialist in 2010 and immediately immersed herself in the A&D community, helping designers specify the appropriate flooring to fit their project's needs. She also joined IIDA's New England chapter and served on their BLB (Business Leaders Breakfast) Committee for 5 years and participates in many of the events iidaNE puts on.
Starnet is a worldwide co-op Allegheny is a very large part of, and Lauren has become very involved including joining the Specifiers group in 2010 and helping to found the Specifiers Committee and becoming Vice Chair in 2015. In addition, she also joined Starnet's Marketing Committee in 2016 and Next Generation group in 2013. Lauren acts as a liaison between the flooring contractor, vendors, and architects and interiors designers and helps the company to form relationships and acquire projects that Allegheny might otherwise not have.
Surface Prep Division
Vice President, Surface Prep. Division
After working as a VP for another flooring contractor, Chris joined Allegheny in 2007 and started the Surface Prep. Division which is now a very large sector of the business. Chris graduated from UMASS Boston's College of Professional studies with a bachelors in business and marketing. He has been on both ICRI (International Concrete Repair Institute) and the Union's INSTALL Surface Prep Committee. As VP of Surface Prep for Allegheny, Chris works with Supercap, a mobile blending unit truck that allows self leveling material to be pumped from the exterior of the building and has become a game changer for the way Allegheny levels floors.
Field Supervisor & Operations Manager,
Surface Prep. Division
Having covered many rolls including Installation Manager, Estimator, and Foreman for many years, Paul was a great addition to Allegheny in 2008. As Operations Manager of the Surface Prep Division, he is tasked with overseeing manpower and maintaining their safety in the field. In addition, he works closely with Supercap and ensures that we have successful installations of the product in the field.
Carpet, Resilient & Wood

Allegheny's longest employee, Bob has been with the company since 1984, right after graduating from Tufts University with a bachelors in engineering. Bob started off as an estimator and worked his way to Project Manager in 1989, with a promotion to VP of Carpet & Resilient Division in 2009.

Jay joined Allegheny Contract in 2001 after working as the Branch VP with Dupont Flooring Systems in Boston for 5 years. Jay spent his first year at Allegheny as an Account Executive and was promoted to Vice President in 2002.

Carpet & Resilient Division
Before arriving in 1997, Jose worked for 15 years as an installer and 10 years as a foreman, offering Allegheny a very wide knowledge base. Prior to each project, he evaluates all flooring substrate conditions giving an accurate understanding to each project's needs. Jose works on a daily basis allocating labor resources to complete all commercial projects on schedule.
Ceramic Tile & Stone
Vice President, Ceramic Division
Before his arrival at Allegheny in 2011, Al owned his own company, Rolli Marble & Tile, for 21 years, shortly after graduating from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 1988. Al began as a Senior Account Manager at Allegheny. He then was promoted to General Manager and finally to VP of Ceramic Tile & Stone Division in 2015. He is personally certified through Crossville for Laminam large format panels and Allegheny is the only certified installer of these panels in the Boston area.
Field Supervisor & Operations Manager, Ceramic Division
Luigi started his tile career as a helper and finisher and worked his way up to tile mechanic. He then joined Allegheny in 2008 as a foreman and continued to move up the ladder to supervisor in 2010 and finally to operations manager in 2012. Luigi is very knowledgeable about tile and stone and works closely with the installers in the field to ensure a high-quality installation resulting in a beautiful finished product and appreciative clients.
